DealerFree.com’s policy is information “Privacy”. NOT information “Piracy” or “Exploitation”.
In contrast to other sites' (eBay and TraderOnline) privacy policies, information collected by DealerFree.com for the use of displaying listings on this site will “not” be used for reasons otherwise and will not be given, traded, sold, rented, or otherwise distributed or disseminated to parties external to DealerFree.com. Furthermore, DealerFree.com will not sell, trade, or otherwise disseminate, distribute, or intentionally make available email addresses or phone numbers separate from our listings. Once listings have been cancelled, the listing information is completely deleted from DealerFree.com’s records. DealerFree.com does reserve the right to retain email addresses for "occassional"DealerFree.com
only promotional mailings.
Email Addresses and Phone Numbers
DealerFree.com requires valid email addresses for listings to help ensure the authenticity of listings. Email addresses and phone numbers are also used by DealerFree.com to help track listing counts for sellers. The intent is to limit listings placed by auto dealers and wholesalers in order to maintain a higher ratio of individual vs. commercial listings.
Credit Card Information
Credit card information will not be filed, housed or stored by DealerFree.com and will only be used once during the transaction for confirmation. Additionally, credit card information will not be stored or recorded in cookies, in memory, on users’ computers or on the web server. Credit
card transactions for DealerFree.com will only take place on a secure socket layer (SSL) and all credit card information will be encrypted. This is indicated by "HTTPS" in the URL listed in the browser address box and a closed lock in the status bar of the browser. If these indicators are not observed, users should not enter credit card information.
Cookies
Session cookies will be used only for navigation of the site and to aid in the entry of listings. Session cookies are not available to other users on the web. Session cookies have a default expiration of 20 minutes of inactivity or immediately when users leave the site. Cookies will not be placed or stored on users computers by DealerFree.com.
Use
DealerFree.com reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. DealerFree.com also reserves the right to delete any listing that is deemed as offensive, or which contains links, scripts, or html tags intended to provide navigation to another site or special text formatting, or listings that contain email or web addresses in the listing details.
The seller can voluntarily cancel listings anytime after being placed. Unused portions of a listing term, regardless of whether the listing was terminated voluntarily or revoked by DealerFree.com, will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
Upgraded Listings
Sellers may modify certain data of upgraded listings. This includes, but may not be limited to, price, miles, and description. Sellers may extend the listing period for upgraded listings. Sellers may upload images of their vehicle to accompany upgraded listings. Each of these transactions will require entry of the email address and listing ID associated with the listing. The listing ID can be found on the confirmation/activation email and is also displayed after successful submission of a listing.
